Carbon-Ti: Super light chainrings now available for 12 speed
Founded in 2005, Carbon-Ti gained immediate success with their X-CarboRing chainrings, made with a unique mix of carbon fiber and titanium alloy (Ti6Al4V).
This mix of materials provides an exceptional combination that offers maximum lightness, rigidity and resistance to the wear, as well as a unique aesthetic.
Lightness and rigidity are intrinsic to the Carbon-Ti philosophy, as well as achieving maximum performance and reliability.
This is made possible thanks to the refined design, the expertise in the processing of the raw materials such as grade 5 titanium, carbon, AL7075, alongside the the care and quality of artisan assembly. All strictly made in Italy.
With the arrival of the new year, the range of Carbon-Ti carbon chainrings is renewed and expanded with the introduction of new models. Owners of the latest Shimano 12-speed groupsets will finally be able to optionally choose the latest generation of specific chainrings.
X-CarborRing EVO BCD 110 DA9200 (4 arms) are made specifically for Shimano Dura Ace and Ultegra 12 speed cranks, as well as for the prestigious SRM Origin power meters.
The EVO wording distinguishes these external chainrings that adopt the innovations introduced with the X-AXS chainring model specific to SRAM AXS 12 speed groupsets.
In particular, the outer chainrings are now made from carbon fiber plates with increased thickness, to obtain a significantly higher rigidity and allowing for even more elaborate CNC machining. This, together with the redesigned titanium elements, allow for lightning-fast shifting on both electronic and mechanical derailleurs.
The same innovations are also available for the compact 5-arm X-CarboRing EVO BCD 110 (5 arms) models, suitable for all compact cranksets such as the THM Clavicula SE or the Quarq Dzero AXS powermeter. The internal chainrings of both models, 4 and 5 arms, remained unchanged. The compatible fixing screw kit is the X-Fix ROAD: made from AL7075-T6 alloy, customized with laser engravings and available in a wide range of anodized colors.
X-CarboRing EVO are available in 52/36 and 50/34, as well as in the brand new 54/40, available from February 2022. Compatible with Shimano 11 and 12 speed, Campagnolo 11 and 12 speed and SRAM 11 speed groupsets (and chains).
Today Carbon-Ti components are used by numerous professional athletes who participate in world cup races and who contribute to the development of this prestigious brand.
