Colnago C68 Allroad: where the asphalt ends
A new segment is emerging in the world of bicycles, fueled by the ever-increasing demand from passionate riders who want performance on asphalt and the ability to push on to rougher roads.
This is Allroad, road bikes with the right characteristics to tackle the road less traveled, without encroaching into the burgeoning gravel sector.

In response to this, the all-new Colnago C68 Allroad was born. Designed to perform at its best on a variety of surfaces, from smooth asphalt to light gravel.
This model starts from the solid platform of the C68 Road, the endurance bike in Colnago's range, which integrates performance and pure riding pleasure.
To elevate this concept, the C68 Allroad adopts dedicated geometries to make it even more comfortable and compact:

The reach is reduced, while the stack size increases, with a raised head tube.
This puts less strain on the torso and arms and lightens the wrists, shifting the load to the pelvis.
The overall benefit is increased comfort, especially on uneven surfaces and on longer rides.

To maintain a perfect balance between responsiveness and flexibility, the cross-section of the down tube is modified: its octagonal section is squarer than that of the C68 Road.
The chainstays are also reinforced to better protect the roughness of uneven road surfaces. Finally, the rear triangle and fork are redesigned and optimized to accommodate wider tires up to 35 mm.

Thanks to all these refinements, the C68 Allroad replicates the same, elevated riding experience of the C68 Road, with the added benefit of being able to tackle rougher terrain.
