The Colnago C72 "La Scala" is one of the rarest Italian road bikes to come out of our workshop: 1 of only 72 examples ever built. This complete bike was purchased by a longtime collector based in Australia, part of the Cicli Corsa family ever since he first came to visit us here in Bergamo. His collection leans toward rare and meaningful Colnago releases, driven by a genuine passion for Italy and Italian craftsmanship. With his fit details already on file, sizing was never a question. The frame is where this bike tells its story: sculpted relief detailing, paintwork with a deep marble effect, and gold leaf accents that nod to the interiors of Teatro alla Scala. Finished with Super Record 13 and the matching Bora Ultra WTO wheelset, this C72 is now on its way to Australia.
