Not every build needs to be extreme to make sense. This Colnago G4-X is a great example of a well-balanced gravel bike, built with a clear purpose and a smart approach to value.

The customer, based in the Czech Republic and already a Colnago owner, came back to us looking to complement his road setup with a gravel option. The goal was not to create an over-the-top build, but rather something reliable, versatile and ready to fit into his existing equipment.

The configuration follows that logic. The bike was built with Shimano GRX Di2 for its proven performance and ease of use, while the Fulcrum Rapid Red 500 wheelset was selected as a solid, dependable option, knowing that the customer already had a higher-end set of wheels at home. The only upgrade from the standard configuration was the Colnago CC.01 Wide cockpit, replacing the traditional stem and handlebar with a cleaner, more integrated solution.
