The Colnago Y1Rs is one of the most radical Italian road bikes available today, and this custom build headed to Hawaii was created for a rider who knew exactly what he wanted.

A long-time Colnago enthusiast from the USA reached out to us by email after being recommended by other collectors we had already worked with, with one clear goal: to own the newest and most extreme Colnago platform.

He already had a bike fit report and had essentially identified the correct size himself, so our role was mainly to confirm the choice and help refine the final configuration.

Used to riding Shimano, he chose Dura-Ace for familiarity and function, but wanted to raise the bar with ENVE SES PRO 4.5 wheels, a non-standard option we were glad to arrange. Carefully packed and shipped to Hawaii, this Y1Rs now gets to meet the kind of roads that suit it perfectly.
