The Colnago Y1Rs is already one of the most striking frames in modern road cycling, and this fourth build for a longtime American client — a founding member of Collettivo Cicli Corsa — pushes it further. He asked for his Y1Rs to echo his Porsche 911 GT2 RS in Fashion Grau, so we briefed our trusted painter: matte black logos over gloss Fashion Grau, a finish then carried onto a set of Campagnolo Bora WTO Ultra 45 wheels with graphics recreated from scratch. Sizing came from cross-referencing his existing fit data, landing on a size M with a 105mm stem and 377mm cockpit for a fast, efficient position. Paired with Campagnolo's new Super Record 13 Wireless — his first Campagnolo build after years on SRAM Red — the build is as considered as it is quick.
