This Wilier Filante SLR ID2 shows how we like to approach a new model launch, combining performance, timing and the right setup to match a rider who knows exactly what he wants.

The customer, a long-time Wilier enthusiast from the USA, reached out as soon as the new Filante SLR was announced. His goal was simple, to be among the very first to ride it. We made sure to have his bike ready for delivery on the same day as the official presentation.

Being an experienced rider, the fit was already well defined, so we focused on refining the build. The request was clear, an aero setup, but as light as possible. We upgraded the bike with the new Scope Artech 6 wheelset, chosen for its impressive performance and further enhanced with original ceramic bearings. Staying true to his preferences, the build was completed with the new Campagnolo Super Record Wireless 13-speed groupset.

Delivered in the US, the feedback was immediate. Coming from a previous Filante SLR ID1, he described this new version as lighter, stiffer and faster in every aspect.

A build that reflects both evolution and expectation, exactly as it should.
