SLX Niobium Tube Set

Columbus SLX Niobium is a re-edition of the legendary SL tube set. The top tube has a standard diameter of 25,4 mm, while the down tube and seat tube measure 28,6 mm. Steel, the original material for top-of-the-range frames, is chosen for its superior mechanical characteristics, notably exceptional fatigue resistance and a breaking load second only to advanced composite materials.

Columbus has always focused on the customization and development of materials with characteristics specifically for cycling. These innovations have international significance.

Columbus’s history includes creating steels with patented formulations, such as the famous Nivacrom.
