During intense efforts, sweat drips directly onto the headset area. Standard steel bolts can oxidize or seize inside tight carbon tolerances over time. Colnago designed this dedicated titanium upgrade kit for the Y1Rs to eliminate corrosion issues and trim grams from the top tube area.

The kit replaces stock assembly hardware with a frame-size-specific titanium preload bolt, fixing bolt, internal gears, and a threaded pin. Machined with high precision, the titanium threads allow smooth torque adjustment without binding or uneven tension on the steerer assembly.
