This disc rotor represents the evolution of the X-Rotor SteelCarbon 2, a model widely acclaimed by MTB and road riders since its debut in 2015.

The X-Rotor SteelCarbon 3 Center Lock is designed for direct mounting on Center Lock hubs, ensuring efficient and straightforward compatibility without third-party adapters.

It is a superlight semi-floating disc rotor featuring:

• Steel braking surface (1.8 mm thick)
• Structural carbon fiber inner body
• Specific AL7075 Center Lock adapter
• Laser-engraved Grade 5 titanium protection plate
• Grade 5 titanium rivets and washers

The braking track has been redesigned to improve braking performance, heat dissipation, and ensure more even pad wear. It can be used with any brake pads, although organic pads are recommended.

The rotor features a new profile with rounded CNC-machined edges, increasing safety and ensuring full compliance with UCI regulations.

An ultra–low-profile lockring is included, offering wide compatibility with hubs using 12 mm, 15 mm, or 20 mm thru-axles.

The carbon body has been redesigned to perfectly integrate the dedicated Center Lock adapter, resulting in a system that is lighter, stiffer, and highly efficient. The titanium protection plate fits seamlessly into the carbon structure for optimal load distribution and durability.

The development of the X-Rotor SteelCarbon 3 was carried out in close collaboration with the UAE Team Emirates WorldTour team. Professional riders tested the rotors extensively on Colnago V4RS bikes in extreme racing conditions.

The outstanding performance of the rotors was confirmed during the Giro d’Italia, where they proved their reliability and braking efficiency at the highest level of competition.
