Cinelli King Zydeco II 2026 — Shimano GRX 610 1x12s | Fulcrum Rapid Red AL
Some gravel bikes are built for adventure. The King Zydeco II is built for one thing: winning. Cinelli's fastest, lightest gravel bike ever, engineered for UCI gravel racing, endurance competitions, fast adventure riding, and winter training.
A serious weight reduction
The frame kit is 400g lighter than the original King Zydeco: -273g (size M) from the integrated Columbus Components cockpit and seatpost, and -92g from frame shaping alone. The result: a frame and fork 6% lighter, for a complete kit that's 15% lighter overall.
Stiffness and ride quality
Despite the weight drop, stiffness remains exceptional: +5% at the bottom bracket, a stiffer front end thanks to the more compact main triangle, and a Double Response layup that keeps fiber alignment continuous through the seat node — noticeably better comfort and control over rough terrain.
The drivetrain: Shimano GRX 610 1x12 mechanical
This build runs the Shimano GRX 610 groupset in a single-ring, 12-speed mechanical configuration — built for riders who want the simplicity of 1x, no front derailleur to manage, without giving up the rugged reliability GRX was designed around specifically for gravel. A wide enough gear range to handle long climbs and fast descents with one shifter.
The wheels: Fulcrum Rapid Red AL
Matched to the drivetrain, Fulcrum Rapid Red AL alloy wheels are built to handle fast gravel riding without adding unnecessary weight.
Geometry and build details
The Fast Gravel geometry has been refined, not reinvented: a slightly extended wheelbase for greater high-speed stability and traction, five sizes including a new XS. A modern UDH derailleur mount for maximum drivetrain compatibility. Every detail — down to the custom top tube cover plate and precision paintwork — reflects Cinelli's meticulous design philosophy.
Available colorways:
- Bayou — inspired by vintage muscle car greens
- Orange Safari — a tribute to the bold stripes of historic rally cars
Both feature the Ghost-C, a stylized form derived from the outline of Cinelli's iconic Winged-C.
