Cinelli Nemo Road Disc II 2026 — Shimano 105 Disc Di2 12s | Fulcrum Soniq AL
Some race frames chase trends. The Nemo, Cinelli's flagship steel racing bike, has spent over 75 years doing something else: merging Italian cycling tradition with the performance potential of modern cold-drawn steel. Not a compromise between past and present — an ongoing conversation between the two.
A supply chain that doesn't exist elsewhere
Every Nemo frame is welded by hand by Cinelli's in-house frame builder in Milan, using custom triple-thickness Columbus tubing — arguably the shortest, most refined production chain in the high-end bicycle world. No outsourced steps, no delegation: from design to welding, it all happens under one roof.
Continuous technical evolution
Through ongoing collaboration between the Cinelli Design Office, the in-house frame builder, and Columbus, the Nemo has picked up real, meaningful upgrades over time: a 205g weight reduction, the introduction of the T47 bottom bracket for full internal cable routing and increased stiffness, and a new CNC-machined, ultralight aluminum seat clamp.
Technical features:
- T47 bottom bracket for full internal integration (compatible with the Columbus Trittico cockpit)
- CNC-machined aluminum seat clamp for reduced weight and increased durability
- Reduced seatpost diameter for added comfort
- Made entirely at Cinelli HQ in Milan
- Minimalist laser-cut rear bridge for further weight savings
- Custom Columbus Spirit triple-thickness tube set
- Classic Italian racing geometry
- Distinctive design details and finishing
The build: Shimano 105 Di2 12-speed
This build runs Shimano 105 Disc Di2 at 12 speeds, paired with Fulcrum Soniq AL wheels — the entry point into Shimano's electronic shifting lineup, sharing the same Di2 architecture as the higher-tier groupsets at a more accessible price point, without giving up long-term durability or reliability.
Available in 6 colorways + 1 Color of the Year.
