Lightness and Reactivity, with the Colnago Charm
The Colnago V4 is an all-around bicycle, extremely fun to ride with a clean and refined design. The frame is a rigid, solid, and responsive monocoque structure, benefiting from the same carbon layup research, development, and aerodynamic studies that led to the creation of the V4Rs.

Aerodynamics – Front Area
The front area of the frame is similar to that of the V4Rs. The head tube is slimmer, and the fork has been redesigned compared to the V3Rs and V3 to allow better airflow—especially during fast and technical descents.

Real Dynamic Stiffness
During riding, a bicycle experiences multiple forces acting simultaneously across the entire structure.

For example, during a sprint, the cyclist applies forces to the pedals that are off-axis relative to the bike. At the same time, strength comes from the arms, which pull and push on the handlebars, stressing the front section.

During a seated climb, arm load decreases while most weight shifts toward the rear triangle.

These contrasting scenarios define the concept of Real Dynamic Stiffness, which served as a key reference when designing the V4—just like with the V4Rs.

The outcome is an exceptionally balanced bicycle where all stiffness levels are harmonized to deliver outstanding riding performance.

Stem, Handlebar, Tire Clearance
The V4 comes standard with the CC01 S cockpit, offering full cable integration and maximum aerodynamic efficiency.
The frame kit is also compatible with several third-party systems.

The nominal tire clearance is 30 mm, identical to the V4Rs.

Groupsets and Compatibility
The Colnago V4 will be available in the following configurations:

• Shimano Ultegra Di2 with Vision SC45 wheels
• Shimano 105 Di2 with Vision SC45 wheels
• SRAM Rival with Vision SC45 wheels

The V4 can also be assembled with mechanical groupsets (1x or 2x), as well as any type of single-chainring drivetrain.
