Wilier Filante SLR ID2 2026 — SRAM Red AXS 2X12 Power Meter | Kleos RD 52 T.E.
The Filante SLR ID2 is Wilier's most aggressive aero project to date, developed with the Groupama-FDJ United Cycling Team and tested in the Silverstone wind tunnel: a 13.6% drag reduction on the bike alone, and 4.5% for the full rider-bike system versus the previous ID1. In real terms, that's 14.15 W saved at 40 km/h, and 1'45" gained over 70 km at the same power output — a margin that matters on race day.
This build spec pairs the SRAM Red AXS 2X12 groupset with integrated power meter (48-35T crankset) and Kleos RD 52 T.E. wheels, built for riders who want maximum aero performance without giving up power data in training and racing.
The F-Bar ID2 cockpit, developed with the same World Tour athletes, introduces the O.E.F. (Optimized Ergonomic Flare) design: a 3 cm flare between the hoods and drops that, unlike other variable-width bars, keeps hood ergonomics unchanged. All mounting hardware is fully hidden — a first for a Wilier product — while staying within UCI regulations.
The frame also integrates the Aerokit hydration system, co-developed with Elite Cycling: 1100 ml of total capacity split between the down tube and seat tube, cutting aero drag by more than two-thirds versus a traditional cage setup. Riders who still prefer standard round bottles can fit them too — up to 550 ml on the down tube and 750 ml on the seat tube.
Compared to the Wilier Verticale SLR, built for pure climbing, the Filante SLR ID2 is the choice for mixed or flatter courses where aero gains outweigh saving a few grams. Anyone looking to build a custom spec can start from the Filante SLR ID2 frameset.
