The new Verticale SLR joins the lineup, replacing a Wilier icon, the Zero SLR. It’s not just an ultra-lightweight, high-end frame, but one that offers improved performance and enhanced technical features.

This frame boasts an 8% better stiffness-to-weight ratio compared to the model it replaces. It is a true "All-Rounder", aerodynamically optimized and stiff enough to delight even high-power riders.

Frame Details

A monocoque construction using Active Molding technology and Toray T800, T1100, and M46 JB carbon fiber. Over 400 pre-preg carbon fiber sheets of high and ultra-high modulus are used in the construction. The frame weighs only 648 g in size M, but is stiff enough for sprinters.

New is the seat clamp, better integrated into the frame’s design.

The Verticale also features a repositionable front derailleur mount for chainrings up to 55 teeth, and a redesigned rear dropout that is UDH compatible.

The Fork

The Verticale SLR fork weighs only 296 g and is asymmetrical, with an enlarged left brake-side leg for better force management during extreme braking. The fork crown is tapered and integrates the steering bearing seat.

V-Bar Cockpit

The integrated cockpit weighs 310 g. Developed with Wilier-sponsored teams, it has reduced width at lever mounting points, increasing by 30 mm towards the ends. Stiffer, lighter, and better at dissipating vibrations, with a dedicated aluminum computer mount.

The Seatpost

Available with 0 mm or 15 mm setback. Lighter than previous models and compatible with a rear light.

Lightweight

The frame alone weighs 648 g in size M, a 15% reduction vs. its predecessor. Weight reductions also extend to fork, handlebars, seatpost, and aluminum thru-axles.

The Right Size

Wilier Verticale SLR is available in 6 frame sizes with 6 handlebar sizes. Seatpost options: 0 mm or 15 mm setback. Compared to the Zero SLR, stack remains almost unchanged, Reach is increased, and V-Bar geometry updated for better fit.
