The Colnago Y1RS stands as a vibrant tribute to the world’s greatest stage race, blending historical prestige with modern engineering. This specific project took shape when a client from New York reached out to us by phone, captivated by the striking yellow finish of this limited edition. Through subsequent email exchanges, we guided the customer in selecting a setup that would honor such a rare frame. Our focus was on technical harmony, recommending a -7.5 setback seatpost to ensure the perfect fit for long days in the saddle. By pairing the Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 groupset with Enve SES 4.5 Iride WC wheels, we delivered a custom build that is as fast as it is iconic. It is a world-class racing bike, now destined to bring a touch of the Tour to the roads of New York.
