This Pegoretti Round Disc custom build brings together two very current expressions of Italian road cycling, the continuity of the Pegoretti officina under Pietro and Cristina, and the fresh character of Campagnolo Super Record 1x13 Road.
The customer, a long-time client of ours from Latin America, is also a dedicated Pegoretti collector, with several frames and bikes originally ordered in the Dario Pegoretti years.
This time, he wanted to add a bike that reflected the new chapter of the brand. Fit was simple, as he knows exactly what works for him and feels perfectly at home on a size 49, with no need for a made-to-measure frame. The project became even more interesting after Campagnolo introduced the new 1x13 groupset: he had first ordered only the frameset, then decided this was the right moment to complete it with a distinctive all-Italian setup.
For the photos, we paired the bike with Campagnolo Hyperon Ultra wheels, although the final delivery was without wheels, as a set of WTO Ultra was already waiting for him at home. Shipped to Miami, this Round Disc feels like a thoughtful addition rather than just another build.
