1 of 72: The Colnago C72 "La Scala" Comes to Cicli Corsa
Some bikes are built to be ridden. A few are built to be told. The Colnago C72 "La Scala" belongs to the second category — one of only 72 examples Colnago has ever produced, and one of the rarest Italian road bikes to leave our workshop.
Access most dealers don't have
Cicli Corsa is one of a small number of dealers worldwide with direct access to manufacturers' limited-series releases — bikes that never reach a general allocation and are placed, quite literally, one at a time. It's how a Wilier Filante Ultimate Limited Edition found its way to our shop floor, and how one of only 101 Pinarello Dogma F × Tissot frames ended up with a Collettivo Cicli Corsa member rather than in a showcase somewhere else.
The C72 "La Scala" is the latest of these.

Reserved for the Collettivo
Releases like this one aren't listed for general sale. They're offered to a small circle of clients who've built a relationship with Cicli Corsa over time — members of Collettivo Cicli Corsa. It's less a loyalty programme than a standing invitation: when something this rare becomes available, they're the first to know.

The bike
The C72 "La Scala" takes its name from Teatro alla Scala, and the frame doesn't hide it: sculpted relief detailing, a deep marble-effect paintwork, and gold leaf accents drawn straight from the theatre's interiors. It's finished with Super Record 13 and a matching Bora Ultra WTO wheelset.

For the member who received this particular frame, sizing was never in question, his fit details were already on file with us.
