This build started somewhere unexpected. The customer, a returning Cicli Corsa rider based in the US, came to us initially asking about a Cinelli XCR — and left with a Colnago V5Rs. What shifted the direction was a conversation about finish: with no Dark Series limited edition available at the time, we proposed a custom paint solution on raw carbon that gave the project its own distinct identity. He took to the idea immediately. The result is a build that carries a presence entirely its own — raw carbon with a bespoke finish, paired with Campagnolo Bora WTO Ultra C23 Chrome Edition wheels in 60mm that mirror the frame's visual ambition. Super Record Wireless 1x13 with integrated power meter keeps the drivetrain clean and uncluttered, while the Deda Alenera RS cockpit in matching custom paint ties the whole aesthetic together. Carbon-Ti thru-axles front and rear complete the details. Still being assembled — final weight to follow.
