The Y1Rs has a presence that's hard to ignore, and this build leans fully into it. The customer, contacted us by email asking specifically about the Dark Series colourway — there was no ambiguity about which bike he wanted. What followed was a genuine custom project: we ran through size comparisons together to land on the right alignment, then built around a component list chosen piece by piece rather than off a standard spec sheet. Shimano Dura-Ace anchors the groupset, while Enve PRO 4.5 wheels, a Ceramic Speed OSPW system, and a run of Carbon-Ti parts — chainrings, thru-axles, derailleur hanger — push the build firmly into dream-build territory. The Alpitude Gardena saddle closes out the finishing touches. He'll be collecting the bike directly from us, which felt like the right way to close out a build this personal.
