The Pinarello GR arrived as one of the more anticipated new releases in the gravel segment — and for at least one rider in the Netherlands, waiting wasn't really an option. A long-standing Cicli Corsa customer and committed Pinarello enthusiast, he wanted the new GR as soon as it became available. Having built him several Pinarellos over the years, sizing was straightforward — we already knew exactly where he needed to be. The build itself is clean and well-matched: Dura-Ace Di2 brings electronic precision to a frame designed for varied terrain, while the Princeton Grit 4550 wheels strike the right balance between weight and compliance. Carbon-Ti rotors and through-axles add a considered finishing touch. Despite coming from a pure road background, he took to it immediately — riding with confidence from the first outing.
