The Colnago Y1Rs represents the ultimate pursuit of speed, and this World Champion edition is the perfect example of a high-performance custom build. Our client from Florida, a long-time friend of Cicli Corsa who has entrusted us with many family projects, came to us seeking the definitive aero road bike. By referencing his previous bike fit reports and current riding position, we were able to precisely dial in the frame size and the integrated CC.Y1 cockpit. Initially conceived as a clean, exclusive setup with a Shimano Dura-Ace power meter, the project evolved after a few months of riding. We guided the customer through a targeted upgrade, introducing an ENVE SES wheelset and Carbon-Ti details that significantly reduced the overall weight. The result is a refined racing machine that delivers both aesthetic prestige and competitive efficiency.
