Campagnolo Super Record 13s vs 12s: What Changed?
Campagnolo has unveiled its most advanced groupset ever: the Super Record Wireless 13-speed, the world’s first 2x13 electronic road groupset.
We had the honor of assembling one of the very first Basso SV models equipped with the new Campagnolo Super Record Wireless 13-speed groupset and Bora Ultra WTO 60 wheels. This is a 100% Italian project, bringing together the finest brands in cycling: Basso, Campagnolo, Pirelli, Fizik—each component chosen to create a no-compromise, high-performance road bike.
The new Basso SV (Sempre Veloce) features an aerodynamic yet lightweight carbon frame, with an updated geometry that delivers agility, comfort, and precision handling.
It can accommodate tires up to 35mm, and we chose Pirelli Pzero Race TLR 35mm for this build—offering enhanced grip, greater comfort, and lower pressures without sacrificing rolling performance.
The "Pure Black" raw finish highlights the carbon's UD weave, giving the frame a distinctive and authentic character. It’s a look that perfectly matches the bike’s racing DNA.
A truly groundbreaking groupset. With one extra gear over all other road groupsets, it also allows unmatched configurability: four crank arm lengths, six front chainring combinations, and four cassette options, with full compatibility up to 45c tires.
The design is sleek and purposeful: oversized pulley wheels on the lightweight rear derailleur, newly shaped ergonomic shift levers with the return of the iconic thumb shifter, and precise braking feel, typical of Campagnolo disc brakes.
set to evolve with single-chainring setups and gravel-specific cassettes, expected in early autumn.
A modern Italian road bike, uncompromising in performance and built with passion in our workshop.
