Alanera is the most successful integrated stem-handlebar cockpit for road bikes in recent years, used by top professional teams.

Compatible with internal cable routing in D-shape forks or DCR (Deda Cable Routing) system frames, it is one of the essential components for an exclusive setup and achieving superior performance.

Now, the company from Campagnola Cremasca presents the new Alanera RS 2025.

One of the focal points of the project is aerodynamic improvement. According to studies conducted by the Italian company - using computational fluid dynamics simulations - the new cockpit allows a power saving of up to 3.9 W at a speed of 40 km/h, 8.7 W at 50 km/h, and even 15.5 W at 60 km/h.

The redesigned cockpit not only improves aerodynamics but also ergonomics. The geometry of the RHM-EVO (Rapid Hand Movement) curve allows for even faster and more intuitive transitions from the hoods to the drops compared to the past. Additionally, the gap between the shifter hood and the handlebar has been eliminated to offer more support for the forearm and superior comfort during high grip rides. Finally, with a 6° flare, the handlebar design improves control and provides more space when in the drops.

The Alanera RS is constructed in a single piece, eliminating bonded sections, making the cockpit 6% lighter (20 grams less than the previous model in the 110×42 size) and facilitating internal cable routing. The production requires over 180 layers of carbon fiber with UD and 3K fabrics arranged in 4 main orientations (0°, 30°, 60°, and 90°) for the best stiffness-to-weight ratio. The bike assembly is simplified by an open window (13.5×8 mm) to make cable installation easier; additionally, the monocoque construction has no glue residues, which could potentially harm the cables. Alanera RS is compatible with DCR frames, electronic groupsets, and hydraulic brake cables; it supports frames with D-shaped forks and internal routing for up to 3 cables (1 mechanical and 2 hydraulic).

To highlight the technological innovation brought to Alanera RS, Deda has also changed its logo, paying tribute to the Futura font, a classic and timeless typeface inspired by Bauhaus and Avant-Garde, characterized by clean lines, geometric shapes, and minimalist designs. A step into the future while maintaining the company's distinctive style. The new Deda Alanera RS 2025 represents a significant leap forward in terms of performance, lightness, and ergonomics, making it an excellent choice for cyclists seeking maximum performance.

Alanera RS is available in three widths (40, 42, and 44 mm) and various stem lengths for a total of 13 different standard combinations, plus 8 additional sizes on request.

You can find the Alanera RS at Cicli Corsa, for your current bike or for a project to be realized.
