Pinarello Dogma XC Full 2024 | Frameset

The Pinarello Dogma XC Full 2024 is a high-end mountain bike designed for cyclists seeking exceptional performance on challenging terrains.

The bottom bracket area features a unique design, optimizing stiffness and accommodating an oversized bearing and pivot point for the rear triangle. Flex stays, integrated into the Dogma XC's geometry, enable direct rear wheel travel, saving weight, improving stiffness, and enhancing the connection between rider and rear wheel.

The split rear triangle consists of two semi-triangles connected to a main rotation point using a unique design with molded pins on the carbon frame (patent pending). This design eliminates the classic external 'bridge,' reducing chain stay length and improving handling and reactivity. Critical mud accumulation areas are eliminated, and wider tires can be adopted, offering riders more options.

The rear suspension kinematics consider the integration of flex stays to maximize energy transfer while pedaling, provide optimal compression/rebound on technical descents, and enhance rider control. Friction at pivot points is minimized using a mixed bearings/bushing system. Bushings are used where high impact and low rotational forces occur, while bearings are integrated where low impact/high rotation forces apply. This minimizes energy dispersion, increases rear end reactivity, and enhances system durability.

The suspension connection point under the top tube is adjustable, allowing different rear shock absorbers with varying travel to be fitted, tailoring the bike to specific ride demands: - Front: 100mm – Rear 90mm (with 190x45mm rear shock) - Front: 120mm – Rear 100mm (with 210 x 50mm rear shock)

The custom-designed fully integrated cockpit reduces weight and improves driving precision. It incorporates fully integrated cable routing and a specific headset bearing with an internal stopper at 60° to prevent handlebar over-twisting.

The rear triangle features a patented asymmetric design, reinforcing the left-hand side to counterbalance the higher forces applied on the opposite side of the drivetrain. This design balances energy transfer, enhancing speed and traction.
