The new C13 chain is a fundamental element of the Ekar mechanical group; in addition to providing efficient transmission, in gravel discipline, the chain must function perfectly to contribute to smooth and fast gear changes, always ensuring maximum safety.

With a width of only 4.9 mm, the C13 chain is narrower by 0.25 mm compared to the 12-speed Campagnolo chain, but it offers exactly the same high performance and long durability, recognized characteristics of all Campagnolo chains.

The C13 chain effectively pairs with the special profile teeth of the 1x13 speed crankset gear and Ekar sprockets for a secure, efficient, and smooth transmission.

Despite its narrow profile, the C13 chain is very robust; its internal links are made of C60 steel with a nickel-teflon surface treatment, resisting the highest wear rates encountered on gravel paths. The entire chain, manufactured at the Campagnolo facility in Vicenza, undergoes an exclusive lubrication process, with an ultrasonic bath system ensuring that the special lubricant formula covers all links deeply and uniformly.

The result is efficient operation and high resilience, ensuring longevity even in the challenging conditions of off-road riding and requiring less maintenance.
