The Columbus Futura Cross Semi Integrated fork stands out for its innovative internal routing of the brake hose in the left fork blade, providing an elegant and aerodynamic solution. In contrast to its predecessor, the brake hose is now completely concealed within the structure, enhancing not only the aesthetics but also the overall functionality of the fork.

The famous lines of the Futura fork are widened and lengthened to allow riders to mount larger, more tasseled tires. The Futura Cross fork can mount up to 47mm tires on 700c wheels, but more interesting is the option of mounting 27.5” wheels with a 2.1” tire; a standard and tire choice which is becoming the choice of more and more gravel and monster-cross riders.

Following industry standards, the fork is designed for 12mm thru-axles (included with the fork) and flat-mount disc brakes to ensure compatibility with the majority of modern road and cyclocross disc-brake groupsets. Further increasing the range of steerer options within the Futura line, the 1.5” oversized steerer is synonymous with stability and durability, desirable traits on uneven or slippery terrain.

Last but not least, the innovative Multi-Rake system provides frame designers with more freedom to design when it comes to geometry and trail, and an adjustable set-up based on use and choice of tires ensures riders will find the perfect fit.

Columbus’ brand new graphics, designed for the painted forks-range, has been specifically designed to perfectly match the all the possible colors and paint-schemes of the cycling world: from the traditional and elegant steel frames to the most updated and aggressive monocoques, minimal & racing. To keep and valorize Columbus identity and storytelling also on the Ready-To-Paint version, Columbus provides with each fork a set of special adhesive painting masks. These stencils, bearing Columbus logo, allow to replicate Columbus graphics even on bicycles with custom-painted livery, with the possibility to match Columbus-logo colors with the palette of the frame.
