Protone Icon Helmet | Black Matt | Kask
A redesigned internal frame gives the wearer greater safety.
Seamless technology joins the lower and upper parts of the shell to give it a refined, elegant look and improved aerodynamics.
The new OCTOFIT+ adjustment system optimizes the helmet’s comfort and stability, while a vertical stabilizer across the nape of the neck provides ergonomic neck support and delivers enhanced balance and a customized fit. Its large rotation cap coated in a special rubber increases finger grip, and a reflective insert in the rear helps keep the helmet’s wearer even safer.
The internal lining is made of CoolMax® fabric which, as well as being comfortable and quick-drying, is also removable and washable.
As is standard with all KASK helmets, the Protone Icon has been developed in accordance with the KASK WG11 protocol, an objective, scientific approach to measuring the helmet’s performance against rotational impacts.

HOW DO I CHOOSE THE RIGHT SIZE HELMET?
The choice of helmet must be based on its technical and performance characteristics, combined with comfort and design.
Tips for choosing a helmet: 1. The first thing to do is to wear the helmet for a few minutes, to see if it fits well or if it causes pain in any particular place. 2. Once it has been put on, simulate movement to test its comfort. 3. The helmet, once secured, must be comfortable, but it should not move. 4. When fastened the strap and buckle must not prevent movement of the neck. 5. Always check safety and comfort and choose the model you like best!
The size of the KASK helmets corresponds to the circumference of your head! You can use a tape measure positioning it just above the ears, and taking note of the measurement in centimetres.

OCTOFIT+ RETENTION SYSTEM The new overinjected rubber dial provides improved finger grip. The vertical stabiliser has been redesigned for greater stability providing a customised fit for riders with longer hair. The ergonomic neck support ensures a fast and secure fit against the back of the head.
ECO-LEATHER CHINSTRAP Chin pad with synthetic leather chinstrap. The hypoallergenic and washable chinstrap is extremely comfortable and helps to avoid skin irritation.
3D DRY PADDING The tridimensional 3D DRY padding utilizes a multi-layer open cell construction process: high technology for the best comfort and performance.
COOLMAX FIBER Removable and washable inner padding in Coolmax® material
INNER FRAME The innovative inner strengthening frame offers a greater mechanical strength and a better compactness. In case of shock it prevents the helmet from breaking into many pieces, allowing greater safety for every rider.
AERO CONTROL Incredibly aerodynamic and top performing shell, tested in the wind-tunnel and able to provide a really impressive CX rate. Any position the head will assume the outflow of the air will be perfectly in line with the helmet.
HIGH VISIBILITY High visibility stickers for maximum safety even in poor visibility conditions
MIT The MIT Technology, guarantees a higher head safety, with a complete polystyrene protection thanks to the polycarbonate layer that covers the shell on the top, on the base ring and on the back.
