3T has always been revolutionary in its technical choices.

Just consider the first version of its Strada from 2017: it was described as "the most comfortable aero bike in the world."

This was due not only to its design and geometry but also to some forward-thinking choices, such as the single-chainring drivetrain and the 32 mm tire width accommodated by specially widened fork and rear triangle clearances compared to the standards of the time.

These options, borrowed from the gravel world and experimented on the Exploro range, were later adopted by many other competitors.

These solutions proved immediately effective, so much so that 3T fully embraced them in 2018, competing at the highest levels of international cycling with the Aqua Blue Sport team.

Today, as then, innovation continues with the creation of a new aero road model, 100% made in Italy, specifically designed for asphalt: the Strada Italia.

This bike is developed and manufactured at the Presezzo (BG) facility, with a frame built using filament winding and RTM resin injection technology, ensuring complete control over the carbon fiber layering process.

The same technique is used for the gravel Racemax Italia and Extrema Italia, which we have previously described here.

This production process is optimized to enhance performance and reduce frame weight, making it responsive yet comfortable when needed, allowing for long hours of riding without fatigue.

The result is Strada Italia, designed with dedicated geometry and design to combine endurance and aero qualities in a single bike. This new and versatile model has three main features:

Reactivity: The short chainstays provide the feel of a pure racing bike, perfect for those moments when you need to pick up the pace. The more you push, the more energy you get in return.

Handling: With a balance between torsional rigidity and flexibility at the head tube, Strada Italia offers benchmark maneuverability, precise and confidence-inspiring in every situation, especially during fast descents and challenging corners.

Comfort: The refined carbon layering, particularly in the lower seat tube area, offers stiffness to avoid energy dissipation while ensuring a comfortable ride even on rough roads.

The improved performance geometry of Strada Italia and the ability to fit tires from 30 to 35 mm further enhance comfort and aerodynamic capabilities on any road surface. Whether on perfect asphalt, rough concrete, cobblestones, or even easy gravel, Strada Italia maintains stability and control without compromising performance.

The aerodynamic research extends beyond the frame design to the selection of components and their versatility. Using the Integrale technology applied to the Aeroflux handlebars and the More stem, both in carbon, cables and hydraulic lines can be routed internally for perfect integration.

In response to new UCI regulations, the aerodynamic performance of the frame is optimized by designing a deep but narrow head tube and a wide down tube to cut through the air around the bottles, avoiding annoying turbulence. The Strada Italia frame can be equipped with electronic groupsets and systems using the UDH (Universal Derailleur Hanger) system.

Strada Italia is available in Green, White, or Red, all with a small transparent section that offers a glimpse of the carbon fiber weave.

For fans of the "naked" finish, there is the Project X version with a fully transparent finish that highlights the visible carbon fiber layering.

Finally, for those who prefer a custom solution, there is also the Ready to Paint version, customizable according to the customer's requests. All versions are paired with the 3T More Integrale stem and 3T Aeroflux LTD handlebars.

Cicli Corsa, as always, is ready to assist you if you are considering purchasing 3T products. We are located a few kilometers from the Presezzo headquarters, near Bergamo, and have established a solid relationship with the historic Italian brand aimed at maximum customer satisfaction.
